On May 28th Microsoft unveiled a new search service called Bing. Bing is specifically designed to build on the benefits of today’s search engines but begins to move beyond this experience with a new approach to user experience and intuitive tools to help customers make better decisions. Microsoft Corp. commemorated the launch of its new search engine, Bing, with a nighttime light show at the Seattle Space Needle. A search light beam rose from the Pacific Science Center as a symbol of the new “decision engine,” designed to help people cut through Internet clutter to make smarter, more informed decisions.
